Holy Collaboration, Batman! Hot Wheels x Kith Drop a Limited-Edition 1989 Batmobile

Hey collectors, Trenton here from Hallsguide! Get ready to rev your engines because Hot Wheels is dropping a limited-edition Batmobile that’s sure to send your collection into overdrive. This ain’t no ordinary Batmobile, though. This one’s a collaboration with Kith, the streetwear brand that’s been making waves in the fashion world.

A Dynamic Duo: Hot Wheels and Kith

For those unfamiliar with Kith, let me give you the lowdown. Founded in 2011 by Ronnie Fieg, Kith has become synonymous with high-quality streetwear, often featuring collaborations with big names in sports, music, and, now, pop culture. They’ve got a knack for blending classic styles with modern trends, and this Batmobile is a perfect example of that.

The Batmobile That’s Got It All

This 1:64 scale replica of the 1989 Batmobile is decked out in Kith’s signature style. We’re talking custom Kith Bat Signal Batman indicia and Kith Monogram artwork throughout. It even comes in custom packaging that screams “collector’s item.”

Nostalgia Trip

Now, let’s talk about the car itself. The 1989 Batmobile is an icon, pure and simple. It’s sleek, it’s powerful, and it perfectly captures the dark and brooding aesthetic of Tim Burton’s Batman. I remember seeing it on the big screen as a kid and being absolutely blown away. This Hot Wheels release is a great way to relive that childhood excitement.

Collectibility Factor

As for collectibility, this Batmobile is sure to be a hot commodity. Limited-edition releases from Hot Wheels always generate a lot of buzz, and the Kith collaboration only adds to the appeal. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this one selling for a premium on the secondary market.

Release Details

The Batman x Kith for Hot Wheels 1989 Batmobile drops on Monday, November 18th at Kith shops, 11AM EST/CET on Kith.com, CA.Kith.com, EU.Kith.com & the Kith App.

My Two Cents

Personally, I’m excited about this release. It’s a great blend of pop culture and streetwear, and it’s sure to be a conversation starter in any collection. If you’re a fan of Batman, Hot Wheels, or Kith, I highly recommend trying to snag one of these.

2025 Hot Wheels Car Culture Silhouettes: JDM Legends and Widebody Wonders!

Hey everyone, it’s Trenton from Hallsguide, and I’m back with a first look at the 2025 Car Culture Silhouettes set! This time around, Hot Wheels is taking us on a journey through JDM tuner culture and some seriously wild widebody creations. Get ready for some extreme modifications and iconic cars.

I’ve always been drawn to the creativity and boldness of the Japanese tuning scene. Those wild body kits, eye-catching liveries, and the pursuit of pushing the boundaries of performance – it’s truly inspiring. This Silhouettes set captures that spirit perfectly.

This set is all about pushing the limits of automotive design. We’re talking about cars that are sculpted for speed and style, with those signature exaggerated fenders, massive wings, and deep-dish wheels.

Here’s the lineup that has us all buzzing:

  • LB-ER34 Super Silhouette Nissan Skyline: This is a legendary car in the world of Japanese motorsports. The original Super Silhouette Skyline was a Group 5 race car that dominated the Fuji Grand Champion Series in the early 80s. This Hot Wheels version captures that iconic look with its widebody kit, massive rear wing, and those classic white and yellow Liberty Walk graphics. Seeing it roll on black Real Riders is just the icing on the cake.
  • LB-Works McLaren 720S: This is a brand new casting for Hot Wheels, and it’s a stunner! The 720S is already a head-turner, but the Liberty Walk widebody kit takes it to another dimension. Those flared fenders, the aggressive diffuser, and that massive wing – it’s all here in 1:64 scale. The blue and black color scheme with black six-spoke Real Riders completes the look. And keep an eye out for the rare chase version in black!
  • Nissan 300ZX: The 300ZX is a JDM icon, known for its sleek design and powerful twin-turbocharged engine. This Hot Wheels release seems to be capturing the tuner spirit of the 90s, with a lowered stance, widebody kit, and those classic white five-spoke Real Riders. I’m excited to see the final deco on this one.
  • Mazda RX-7 FC Pandem: The FC RX-7 is a rotary-powered legend, and this Pandem version is a perfect example of modern JDM tuning. The Pandem widebody kit gives it an aggressive stance, and the light blue paint with pink splatter graphics and yellow and white stripes is inspired by the real-life car owned by pro racer Collette Davis. The fact that Hot Wheels is including her signature on the card is a really cool touch. And those mismatched pink and yellow Real Riders? Pure fire.
  • RWB Porsche 930: RWB (Rauh-Welt Begriff) is known for transforming classic Porsche 911s into widebody masterpieces. This 930 is no exception, with its signature flared fenders, ducktail spoiler, and those copper six-spoke Real Riders. The white paint job with Kamiwaza Japan graphics adds a touch of elegance to this beast.

This set is a fantastic mix of JDM legends and modern tuner icons. It’s a testament to the global influence of Japanese car culture and the creativity of the modding community.  Keep an eye out for the #0/5 LB-Works McLaren 720S in all black.  This rare chase version will be hard to get your hands on!

How do you plan to display these. Maybe a custom diorama with a Japanese street scene?

Keep your eyes peeled for the 2025 Car Culture Silhouettes set! These are going to be highly sought-after, so don’t sleep on them.

What are your thoughts on this incredible lineup? Which car is your personal favorite? Let me know in the comments below!

Hot Wheels Team Transport Mix #1 for 2025 is Coming in Hot!

Get ready, collectors! Hot Wheels is dropping another wave of their popular Team Transport series, and Mix #1 for 2025 is packed with awesome pairings. This time around, we’re getting three distinct combos that cater to diverse tastes. You can check out the promo pics below to get a taste of what’s in store. I’m particularly excited about this release, and here’s why:

#74: Forest Green Jaguar Mk1 Hauled by a Silver 2023 Land Rover Defender 110

This set is a knockout! Not only are we getting the first-ever premium release of the Jaguar Mk1 casting in a sophisticated forest green, but it’s also being towed by a brand-new casting for Hot Wheels: the 2023 Land Rover Defender 110 in a sleek silver finish.

  • About the cars: The real-life Jaguar Mk1 was a luxury sports sedan produced from 1955 to 1959. Known for its graceful lines and powerful engine, it was a favorite among the British elite and even made appearances in some classic films. The modern Land Rover Defender 110, on the other hand, is a rugged off-road SUV, capable of tackling tough terrain while still offering a luxurious driving experience. Seeing these two icons of British automotive history together is a real treat.

#75: 1972 Toyota Corolla Levin and Sakura Sprinter – A JDM Dream Team

Calling all JDM enthusiasts! This set is pure fire. The 1972 Toyota Corolla Levin is a legend in the world of Japanese performance cars, and Hot Wheels has captured its iconic shape perfectly. What makes this set even cooler is the matching paint job: both the Levin and its Sakura Sprinter hauler sport a vibrant yellow with red and orange stripes along the lower body.

  • About the cars: The Levin was a high-performance variant of the Corolla, popular for its lightweight design and agile handling. It became a motorsports icon, dominating rally races and touring car championships. The Sakura Sprinter, while not a real-life vehicle, is likely inspired by Japanese car carriers of the era, often used to transport race cars to events.

#76: Silver Lamborghini Reventon Roadster with an All-Black Flipsider Hauler

For the supercar lovers out there, this set delivers the goods. The Lamborghini Reventon Roadster, a limited-production masterpiece, is recreated in stunning detail and finished in a striking silver. Its carrier? The menacing all-black Flipsider Hauler, ready to transport this beast in style.

  • About the cars: The real Reventon Roadster was a limited-edition supercar with only 15 units produced. Its design was inspired by the F-22 Raptor fighter jet, giving it an aggressive and angular look. With a 6.5L V12 engine, it could reach a top speed of over 205 mph. The Flipsider Hauler, like the Sakura Sprinter, is a Hot Wheels original, likely taking cues from real-life enclosed car transporters used for high-value vehicles.

I don’t know about you, but I’m already planning a trip to my local stores to hunt these down! Team Transport sets are always a highlight of any Hot Wheels collection, and this mix is shaping up to be one of the best yet. What are your thoughts on these upcoming releases? Which one are you most excited for? Let me know in the comments!
