First Look: 2017 Hot Wheels E Case

The 2017 Hot Wheels E Case arrived early in the UK.  Thanks to James Yeung for the pictures.  You can follow him on Instragram @jckyphotography.

It was just last week that I did the 2017 Hot Wheels C Case unboxing on YouTube.  The D Case has yet to be released in the US but it looks like the E Case has been released in multiple locations across the pond.  This E Case also has some holdovers from the yet-to-be-released D Case.  At this point, I’m not entirely sure what is new to the E case and what was contained in the D Case, but we will get that sorted out in time.  The Toyota Off-Road Truck (no picture included) is the Super Treasure Hunt for the D Case while the Surf Crate is the E Case Super Treasure Hunt.  The Tooligan is the regular Treasure Hunt in the E Case.

New Models include the Roller Toaster, Turbo Rooster, and the Custom Datsun 240Z.  The Datsun is sure to be a hit with JDM collectors.  Other notable models include the Lamborghini Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo, ’55 Chevy, 1987 Toyota Pickup Truck, ’55 Chevy Bel Air Gasser (recolor), wheel variations on the Volkswagen Golf MK7, and the Custom ’56 Ford Truck which introduces a new wheel style.
